I’m done, I quit.

That’s what I said to myself one day.

I almost gave up on my business.

But here’s the thing, I was doing everything right.

I was posting content, reaching out to people, and doing everything I was told to.

And yet, I wasn’t making the progress I wanted.

But I realized that it was because I was doing too much.

I was overcomplicating everything and I was doing more than needed.

More of the things that didn't matter and move the needle forward.

My life wasn’t so good either.

I was waking up tired, demotivated and I hated my business.

I felt like I was stuck in this Groundhog Day, where every day is the same:

  • Working hard

  • Working long hours

  • Doing everything under the sun to grow the business

  • Not seeing any results & tangible progress

After a couple of months of daily grind and hustle, I had enough.

I had doubts if I was ever going to make it.

So I sat down and did a little reflection on my life & business.

I released that I was listening to this toxic voice that was telling me:

“Do more”

“Work harder”

After months of listening to that voice and seeing people constantly push others to do more, I formed a belief that it’s the only way to grow.

But it isn’t.

I flipped the script and I worked on changing my beliefs.

I saw people crushing it by working efficiently for 4-hours per day.

I got clear on what I wanted and what new beliefs I needed to form.

That was the internal part.

The next thing I did is that I:

  • Analyzed all the tasks I was working on

  • I eliminated low-leverage tasks

  • I identified and streamlined 1-3 needle-moving tasks

  • I automated and delegated the rest

The biggest lesson for me was the realization that doing more doesn’t always mean better.

It’s not about how much you do, but about WHAT you do and HOW you do it.

Once I applied all of this, my life and business changed.

I wasn’t spending 8-12 hours working on tasks that didn’t matter.

I was working 4 hours per day, working on high-leverage tasks and I got results.

I was done with my work by noon.

Results? Made more progress, money, and I wasn’t burned out anymore.

That’s the process I go through with my clients too – I help them gain back hours in a day and help them focus only on what matters so they achieve more in less time.

So if you’re working hard but don’t see results, analyze your tasks.

That’s how you are going to maximize the value of your time, energy, and focus.
